Ballymore To Launch Pan Peninsula Two

Ballymore are to start marketing their second tower at Pan Peninsula in Canary Wharf in London on the 4th of June 2006. This follows the outstanding success of the first one that has sold over 50% of its apartments in less than six months and has set new records for London in terms of the sheer levels of sales by value.

Designed by leading Chicago architect Skidmore, Merrill & Owings the second tower follows in design from it's neighbour except for differences in height and the number of floors, it is 118 metres to the adjacent 147 metre tall building and will contain 430 new apartments.

Prices for this tower will be similar to the taller one, expect them to be in the region of 450,000 for the cheapest two bedroom on offer or 230,000 for a bed-sit, er... we mean studio suite. Penthouses will be 2 million plus if the previous prices are anything to go by.

Linked to the taller tower by a shared podium and ground level facilities residents of the shorter tower will be able to share amneties provided in their taller neighbour with access to the private cinema, health spa and the 50th floor cocktail bar.

Anticipating a running start the developer already has the tower under construction, and with demand from buyers running at this current rate in the capital, Ballymore will have to be starting a 100 metre plus residential every six months to satisfy it. Demolition already underway at the nearby London Arena site just over the dock. The Crossharbour scheme has also worked on by Ballymores favourite architects SOM, and can now be expected to start around the end of the year or the beginning of next.
