St Martin's House stood on the location of what today is the Selfridges department store in Birmingham. It was the first part of the Bull Ring development that was completed.
Next door was a multi storey car park with a capacity of 600, part of an area plan to provide 10,000 parking spaces.
St Martin's House quickly became obsolete - the floor to floor heights were only 9 feet (2.73 metres).
