Images Other Information
- One Coleman Street was developed by Stanhope as the bespoke headquarters for financial giant, Legal & General.
- The modernist design features 425 pre-cast polished concrete columns with rows of horizontal ones showing off an angular look, similar to some of the more superior designs by Seifert in the sixties and seventies. Topping the upper level are highly reflective stainless steel beams that seamlessly appear to continue the faceted nature of the facade.
- One Coleman Street effectively hugs the boundaries of the site, something that defines its curving shape, whilst the floor to ceiling heights were kept down 2.75m on the average office floors to try and keep it under the height limits for the area.
- Within the building is one of the most efficient in the City of London when it comes to floorspace - the net floorspace to gross floorspace ratio is 90.
