Other Information

  • The outside of 40 Holborn Viaduct is dominated by natural pink granite stone that clads the 1,500 tonnes of steel that make up the building structure.
  • The building is constructed with an essentially triangular footprint that responds to the shape of the plot with a central core serving it.
  • On the south western corner however, the building curves creating space for a small external public area that fronts on to Holborn Circus in a similar way to four of the other five corner positions at the traffic junction.
