The construction of the Lennox Estate was a particularly controversial one, it was the site of the last herd of cows in this area of London ending thousands of years of farming in Wandsworth.
The design of the three blocks on the Lennox Estate by Gollins, Melvin and Ward is particularly unusual thanks to the central concrete shaft that projects several floors above the roof of each tower.
