Other Information

  • Thanks to the Modernist styling, many believe Campden Hill Towers to be council housing on first glance but in reality it is entirely private accommodation.
  • Cotton Ballard & Blow designed the complex to be a then-monumental tower with a longer lower rise block running alongside Notting Hill Gate as a contrasting feature to it architecturally.
  • The apartments are arranged on a vertical concrete grid, just like later tower blocks, although each individual flat has its own personal fire escape to the next floor.
