  • The concrete C shapes that feature on the building facades are actually intended to be stylised Chinese dragons that were inspired by artwork that sat on the walls of Lubetkin's studio.
  • Unusually for council housing, the staircase of the tower has been designed to give a feeling of grandeur. As such it spirals in the same manner as a country home. Glazing is employed every five floors to allow residents to enjoy the views.
