SohoCreate Festival

Running from the 4-6th of June will be the SohoCreate Festival, a new event that combines various creative industries together and features talks from some of their leading lights.

Amongst the sessions will be Urban Inspiration : Relationships, space and place which will see the artists Ben Johnson and Langlands & Bell speak together with architect Eva Jiricna exploring people and architecture, but above all how they actually have rather a lot in common in all seeking to create an emotional response from their work.

Leading architect, Sir Nicholas Grimshaw will be teaming up with artist Yinka Shonibare and publisher Matthew Slotover to address the question of Creativity - Can we live without it? As well as looking at how human creativity is used to make sense of our existence be it life, death, or simply living, they'll be giving their views on whether we are doing enough to build a new generation of creatives in a world where education is increasingly a box-ticking exercise.

A full pass for the entire three day event will cost 192, but tickets are a more reasonable 20 if you simply wish to see a single session.
