- BSC Group CEO Bashar Issa named this building after his wife.
- If it had been built, the Sarah Tower will contain the highest swimming pool in Manchester.
- Construction on the site ran on and off for a number of years, during which time a site worker died. The project was left abandoned with some steel structure erected in 2008, and then later demolished to make way for a new Premier Inn.
