- St Andrew's House is constructed on the site of the Royalty Theatre in Glasgow which was demolished in 1959.
- This redevelopment saw the existing structure completely stripped where the existing office floors are located, and the recladding the structural shell with glass curtain walls and aluminium fins.
- The building has numerous antenna on the top of it and those that cannot be removed thanks to the leases so instead are concealed partly under the branding for the new building occupant Premier Inn.
