Other Information

  • The irregular shape of the building responds tightly to the boundaries of the site hugging them as much as possible.
  • Whilst the rest of the building is more regularly adorned, the Southern facade is designed to have ripple effect glass.
  • The glass frontage is designed to be lit up at night by lights that will reflect off illuminating the area around the Monument in the place of public street lights.
  • Planned as a multi use building, it will have two entrances - one for the Museum within and the other for offices.
  • Flexible accomodation is planned for within with large floorplates that can be easily split into multiple tenancies.
  • 11-19 Monument Street will have a large roof terrace on the top of it open to both members of the general public and office occupiers.
