Images Other Information
- This tower was previously the proposed 159m tall St Boltophs House until the redesign.
- The building is inspired by a series of open books to be interlinked, in part by glass atriums.
- The top of the building will contain a restaurant plus an open roof terrace of 1,296 sq m, the largest in London. There will also be a public sky lobby on the 12th and 13th floors.
- The Minerva Building features a double skinned glass and aluminium ventilated facade excellent functioning a bit like a wet suit does on skin with a 0.8m gap between layers. This will reduce heating and air conditioning useage by up to 60%. It will also provide occupants with fresh air thanks to the vents located on the facade.
- The skyscraper will have 149,776 sq m gross floor space in 50 storeys and in the lower ground and basement levels. This translates into net office space of 92,918 sq m including three trading floors of up to 3,500 sq m.
