  • Elmley Moor is the tallest standing free structure in the United Kingdom.
  • The concrete neck has an observation room 275 metres up it that is reached by a lift that takes a journey of 7 minutes from top to bottom.
  • The tower is a replacement for a previous mast that collapsed on Christmas Day in 1969 that was identical to the Belmont one which still stands.
  • The foundations are 6.1 metres deep and the entire structure weighs 11,200 tonnes.
  • The tower is not currently open to the public for "security reasons" however there is an observation area off Titus Lane to the immediate north of it.
